Okay, so it's been over a year since I have last blogged and life has changed dramatically. Here's a quick recap of my life so far:
May 9, 2010- Alan and I become engaged
April 9, 2011- Alan and I are married
June 3, 2011- I quit my job at ADTRAV
Today is June 30, 2011 and I am working with my parents on insurance inspections and am trying to sell items on Ebay. Why did I quit my job?
I had not been happy at ADTRAV in quite some time. I had to fight for my time-off for my wedding and I had come to realize that I was not valued (they don't value anyone there). I had given them my all and in return, did not receive anything.
When Alan and I were married, I realized that I wanted to be the one to take care of him. I wanted to have a clean place to live; I didn't want him to be worried about the groceries, doing the laundry, paying the bills, etc. I wanted to do all those things so that I may support him. So in turn, he could be the best at his job. I also want to be able to be off on his days off.

Marriage has been wonderful. We have been married for almost 3 months and I have not been happier! I am blessed to be married to my best friend and confidant. He is an incredible man and I am so glad he asked me to be his wife! I know I have changed since we've been married and will continue to change/mature. I cannot wait to see how the Lord will continue to bless us.
